Doreen Möller honoured as one of the best apprentices!

Training means future! This philosophy also applies to Palmberg Büroeinrichtungen + Service GmbH. Consequently, many former apprentices have meanwhile become members of the Palmberg team. As one of the largest employers of the region, Palmberg offers young people training opportunities for six different recognised occupations year after year. Qualifying young people is an important pillar of Palmberg’s company philosophy and therefore an essential part of the regional promotion of young skilled workforce. Due to this training policy, the Association of Wood and Plastics Northeast honoured Palmberg with the award "Best Company at Training Apprentices 2009".

 

 „It's also important to us that our apprentices are trained comprehensively. Our modern and successful training concept promotes and demands professional as well as social competence”, says Personnel Manager Agnes Hack.  

 

Excellent results are rewarded

After passing the A-levels (Abitur), for today 25-year-old Doreen Möller 1st September 2009 was the first day of her training at Palmberg. Although the training as an industrial clerk usually lasts for three years,  Doreen Möller was allowed to take her IHK final exam half a year before the end of the normal training period, due to her corporate and vocational performances. The examination brought excellent results. With the ‘dream-mark’ 1.4 (93 out of 100 points), Doreen Möller - native ofRostock – finished the training as an industrial clerk at Palmberg in January 2012.   

 

 

She belongs to the best skilled junior employees of the Land of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania:Doreen Möller from PALMBERG.

 

On 19th March 2012, she was honoured by the IHK Schwerin for these outstanding performances. At the ceremony in the Ludwig Bölkow House the results of the best students in the different occupational categories were praised. The best apprentices of the IHK final examinations received their certificates from Heike Polzin, Minister of Finance of the Land of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Hans Thon, President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce inSchwerin.

 

"By the IHK examinations the trainees prove that they meet the requirements of the economy at the threshold of working life”, emphasized IHK President Thon in his ceremonial address.

 

Since her final examination, Doreen Möller has been a member of the permanent Palmberg staff as an assistant in the field of management systems. She is responsible for updating and developing the management documentations and closely cooperates with the integrated management systems officer. In addition, she looks after the corporate learning group of Palmberg
